Strengthening Early Reading Instruction: Teaching Reading K–2 Starter Bundle

Strong reading foundations begin in the early years of school. Clear routines, explicit instruction and consistent practice across Kindergarten to Year 2 are essential for building confident, capable readers.

The Teaching Reading K–2 Webinar Series has been designed to support educators in strengthening their approach to early literacy instruction. The Starter Bundle brings together four core webinars that address key components of effective reading teaching:

  • The K–2 Literacy Block – Structuring your literacy block for clarity and impact

  • The Phonics Lesson – Delivering explicit, systematic phonics instruction

  • Teaching How to Decode and Blend Words – Building accuracy and fluency

  • Daily Review – Supporting retention and consolidation of learning

Together, these webinars provide a cohesive framework to support consistency across classrooms and year levels.

Educators who enrol in the Starter Bundle receive four courses for the price of three, offering a practical and comprehensive pathway for strengthening foundational reading instruction.

Building strong foundations in K–2 makes a lasting difference for students — now and into the future.
