Decodable Reader Basic Code Packs

SPELD NSW has put together a range of classroom packs of decodable readers made up from the high quality decodable readers that we stock. These packs are a great resource for classrooms and learning support teams. Each pack contains multiple copies of each book in the series. These readers can be used in reading groups, intervention programs or as take-home readers.

The Classroom Book Packs on this page include decodable readers that address the Basic Phonics Code (the common single letter sounds and consonant digraphs). These books are ideal for students in Kindergarten and who are working on learning this Basic Phonics Code. Students learning the Basic Phonics Code need lots of practice decoding words with taught phonic code to develop their reading skills.
