Stewart Financial Assistance Professional Learning Scholarships
Applications for Round 2 Teacher and Intervention Scholarships are now OPEN.
SPELD NSW believes every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of where they live or learn. Thanks to the generosity of dedicated donors, the SPELD NSW Stewart Financial Assistance Program is offering Professional Learning Scholarships to empower teachers across New South Wales.
The Stewart Financial Assistance Program honours the legacy of Yvonne Stewart. Her passion to equip children with the skills to break the reading code and her commitment to training teachers laid the foundation for SPELD NSW and inspired the establishment of other SPELDs across Australia.
These scholarships are designed to improve educational outcomes for students, especially those with specific learning difficulties, by supporting teachers with evidence-based professional learning.
“We are passionate about ensuring every school has access to specialist trained interventionists to support people with Specific Learning Difficulties. We are grateful for those able to support this vision being recognised!”
Veronica Alexander, CEO SPELD NSW
