Sunshine Phonics Readers

Sunshine Australia Phonic Readers are lovely Australian stories that allow students to practise their phonics decoding in a systematic and sequential manner. Sunshine Phonic Readers follow the Letters and Sounds Scope and Sequence. With two sets there are lots of different titles to give students the practice they need.

Sunshine Phonics Reading Adventures

Eight easy to read, graphic novel style decodable chapter books to build reading confidence. These books are light on text and big on humour and engaging characters and stories. Reading Adventures consists of two, parallel, four-book series. Take your students on a Reading Adventure with Big Mess Jess and Jet Pack Jack Decodable chapter books to engage all readers.

To read the first book, students only need to know Simple Code (consonants and short vowel sounds – equivalent to Set 3 of the Sunshine Phonics decodables series). Titles 2-4 add further phonics skills. These engaging books are fully decodable text throughout (with some tricky words).
