C-Pen 3 now available in the SPELD NSW Bookshop!

These assistive reading pens are designed to support students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties, offering a range of features to foster independence and confidence.

The C-Pen Reader 2 provides text-to-speech technology, allowing students to scan printed text and hear it read aloud instantly. With multiple built-in dictionaries, learners can quickly look up definitions and improve their vocabulary. The device is portable, easy to use, and does not require Wi-Fi or internet access, making it ideal for use at home, in class, or on the go.

The Exam Reader 2 is specifically designed for exam settings. It offers clear audio feedback, helping students decode text and understand questions without distraction. The pen is customisable, promotes independent test-taking, and is a cost-effective alternative to human readers in schools.

The new C-Pen Reader 3 is the latest version of the award-winning smart pen. This pen has all the features and functionality of the Reader 2 but also many new features such as:

  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity – online & offline modes
  • Colour touch screen navigation
  • 5 x built-in languages & dictionaries
  • Online translation of 40+ languages
  • Easy firmware updates via Wi-Fi

C-Pen devices empower students with reading challenges to become more independent, confident learners. Visit the SPELD NSW Book Shop to explore these innovative tools and support your students’ literacy journey.
