SPELL Professional Learning EXTRAS!

Introducing SPELL @ SPELD NSW Professional Learning EXTRAS!

We are pleased to introduce SPELL @ SPELD NSW Professional Learning EXTRAS! — a new series of bite-sized webinars and on-demand modules, rolling out across Term 2.

Designed to support educators implementing the SPELL program, these sessions provide practical guidance on key aspects of spelling instruction and intervention. Topics include assessment, targeted intervention, small group instruction, supporting students with additional needs, and applying spelling knowledge in writing — with clear, actionable strategies ready to use in the classroom.

SPELL @ SPELD NSW supports structured, explicit spelling instruction, but the success of any program relies on the knowledge, confidence and expertise of the teachers implementing it.

The EXTRAS! series extends this support by offering additional insights, practical examples and targeted professional learning to complement the core program. It also provides an opportunity for SPELL @ SPELD NSW subscribers to level-up their implementation, while being open to all educators seeking to strengthen their knowledge and practice in spelling instruction.

Explore SPELL @ SPELD NSW Professional Learning EXTRAS! and discover practical ways to strengthen spelling instruction in your classroom.
