Professional Learning for Terms 1 and 2, 2024 now available!

SPELD NSW has launched our 2024 Terms 1 and 2 Professional Learning Calendar. Book now to secure your place with Early Bird discounts available for SPELD NSW members!

For K-2 teachers in 2024, we recommend these courses aimed at K-2 explicit and evidence-based literacy instruction:

SPELD NSW also offers training in a number of phonics programs ideal to support phonics instruction in K-2 classrooms – Sounds-Write, UFLI Foundations, and Little Learners Love Literacy!

For years 3-6 teachers, we recommend our courses on Fluency (The Fluency Puzzle), Morphology (Mastering Morphology), and Spelling (Making Spelling Stick) to give you the knowledge and tools you need for these key aspects of the new 3-6 English Syllabus.

Finally, for Learning Support teachers and Interventionists, you can start with our webinars on reading difficulties (here and here) or our one-day course on strategies for students with reading difficulties (Help me Read!) or you can jump right into our 6-month-long Teacher Certificate Course on Literacy Intervention.

Professional Learning is available from Parramatta, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie, Dubbo, and online!!
