Teaching Little Learners Love Literacy® Professional Learning Workshop

This workshop is a two-day professional learning course focused on how to teach Little Learners Love Literacy® with fidelity. It aims to prepare teachers to implement evidence-based reading, spelling, phonemic awareness and writing routines in their classroom.

The Professional Learning Workshop comprises:

  • Four interactive online pre-work modules
  • Two in-person workshop days (9am to 3.30pm)
  • Professional Learning Workshop Kit

Delegates will explore key theory concepts including the science of reading, cognitive load theory and explicit teaching. Classroom footage and a range of interactive activities will support teachers in mastering the practical elements of the program including planning and assessment.

Designed for:

Kindergarten & Year 1 teachers, literacy leaders, APs and Principals who want to learn more about the pedagogy of explicit sequential synthetic phonics and what it looks like in the classroom. Private practitioners also welcome – speech pathologists, tutors etc.
