Jennifer is an educational and developmental psychologist with extensive training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive and learning disorders. She is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor and a committee member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists NSW branch.
“Understanding an individual’s cognitive functioning has significant clinical implications – it allows the identification of factors that place him or her at risk of thinking and learning deficits, and ultimately, enable us to provide developmentally appropriate intervention. Effective treatment is essential in helping minimise the negative impact of cognitive and learning difficulties upon a person’s quality of life.”
Jennifer previously worked in a tertiary hospital, specialising in the provision of assessment and management options to clients with chronic conditions, as well as involvement in research studies investigating the developmental and cognitive phenotype of pre-schoolers, children, adolescents, and adults.
Jennifer joined SPELD NSW in 2020. Her role is to determine the psychoeducational outcomes of school-aged students and adults.
