SPELD NSW provides support to the families of students with difficulties with literacy and numeracy and to adults with specific learning difficulties. All donations made to SPELD NSW go to fund this vital work.
SPELD NSW provides support to families through our InfoLine. Our Information and Referral Officers make over 3,000 calls and emails each year to provide information, advice and support to allow families to support their child’s learning. We also support adults with specific learning difficulties seeking support and advice. SPELD NSW also runs a Referral Database of experienced tutors and allied health professionals which we can refer families to. Many of our tutors and professionals provide support to families online through tele-tutoring and tele-health services.
SPELD NSW develops a range of accessible and engaging resources to support families of students with literacy and numeracy difficulties and regularly offers workshops about learning difficulties for families.
