Suzi Johnson

Suzi is a passionate educator and advocate for explicit and evidence-informed reading, writing and mathematics instruction. She has over 13 years’ experience teaching and leading in NSW primary schools as well as guest lecturing at university level. She has worked as a classroom teacher, learning support and interventionist teacher, EAL/D teacher, assistant principal and K-6 instructional leader. Suzi is driven to stay abreast of current research in the science of reading and learning, completing further research and study in the areas of literacy and learning difficulties through Macquarie University and Edith Cowan University. She is passionate about equipping teachers and school leaders to implement teaching and learning programs for students that are grounded in evidence to ensure success for all.
