Asantha joined as an administrative assistant in October 2023. She was inspired by SPELD’s vision of supporting individuals with learning difficulties and believes it is especially important during early stages of life. Asantha experiences this with her son and notices how he is improving with the right support at the right time.
Asantha holds a LLB degree overseas and obtained a graduate diploma of legal practice from the University of Sydney. She has worked in the legal field and has taken a career change towards social and community services. Asantha believes that the most rewarding part of being involved with a non-profit is that everyone works towards the goal of providing a service for others.
