Upcoming Courses - SPELD NSW

Supporting children and adults with specific learning difficulties

Upcoming Courses

SPELD NSW offers professional learning and consulting services for schools, teachers and professionals who work with students with specific learning difficulties or who are interested in evidence-based literacy and numeracy instruction.  We run regular public workshops on a range of specific topics and we are available to run School Essentials Workshops as in-school professional learning days, half-days or after school workshops.

Our workshops focus on evidence-based literacy and numeracy instruction and best-practice approaches to teach and support students with specific learning difficulties like dyslexia. Workshops are suitable for classroom teachers, learning support teachers and teachers’ aides, tutors, speech pathologists and other allied health professionals.

Professional Learning workshops are held at SPELD NSW in Parramatta, Newcastle or other regional centres or run as a whole-school professional learning workshop at your school. Evening workshops are also available across NSW as live webinars.
