New SPELD NSW Resources – Adjustments InfoSheets

SPELD NSW is pleased to share three new InfoSheets on Adjustments for Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia. These free, online resources have been developed to assist teachers, parents and schools who are supporting students with difficulties with literacy or numeracy.

Adjustments are changes made to planning, teaching, assessments & reporting, the environment and resources in order that students with learning difficulties can access the syllabus outcomes and content and demonstrate their skills and knowledge.

The Adjustments InfoSheets provide information about adjustments for classroom and homework, assessments, programming and intervention for students with literacy and numeracy difficulties. The Adjustments Infosheets outline the suggested adjustments and some best practice inclusive teaching practices to support ALL students with reading, writing, spelling and mathematics.
